I’m a filmmaker called Abdulrahman Abdulfattah. I am deeply drawn to developments in technology and climate change phenomena with roots spanning generations. I firmly believe that everything is interconnected and that these connections affect our emotions both directly and indirectly. This conviction inspires me to explore the boundaries and potential for change, both on an individual level and within a broader societal context.

In 2025, our film Close Your Eyes Hind received a Golden Calf Award for Best Short Film at the Netherlands Film Festival. I served as an executive producer on the project, which was directed by Amir Zaza. This experience strengthened my commitment to producing films that combine artistic depth with social relevance.

I place great importance on understanding our emotions and the technological advancements that influence them. I continually investigate the origins of these feelings and how they are reflected in cinematic frames, striving to create images that feel familiar to the viewer and invite personal interpretation. In addition to telling stories informed by the insights of psychologists, philosophers, and scientists, I aim to provoke thoughtful reflection on the value of life, its utilization, and the preservation of social consciousness.

I also have a strong affinity for drama films that advocate for human rights and seek to improve society. Films that deeply explore the human experience, capture complex emotions, and push the limits of storytelling are my greatest inspirations. In particular, I am drawn to science fiction films that incorporate philosophical themes and examine the impact of technology on society.
